David Tab, Singer/Songwriter, Recording Artist, Music Producer
Tabitchin Recording Studio
Tabitchin, David, is a multi-instrumentalist musician and indie-music producer with a 32-track analog studio to record and mix in.
Raised on the East coast in the sixties and seventies, he grew up playing guitar and drums with his bass playing brother in numerous bands until his brother chose to pursue other interests.
A professional back-country snowboarder and racer, Tabitchin was brought out to Seattle to set up the snowboarding school program at Crystal Mountain Resort just as the Seattle music scene was taking off in the early '80s and then exploding in the early '90s.
Finding his niche and surrounded by emerging talent like Alice in Chains, Sound Garden, Sad Happy, Love On Ice, Green Apple Quickstep, Presidents of the United States of America, Nirvana, just to name a few, Tabitchin played and short-toured with Shred & the Decrepits, Five Fingers of Doom, VH cover band Jamie's Crying, Downwind Approach and others.
With the Pacific Northwest agreeing with Tabitchin's sense of adventure and enthusiasm for sports, too, he found himself becoming a professional ice climber, paraglider, and enduro dirt bike racer. Some of the terms used with these sports are found within the lyrics of his songs.
Tabitchin is always interested in working and recording with others in the studio, like he did with Jaymes Young. In fact, Tabitchin was the first to record the Seattle artist which was a stepping-stone to his career. Tabitchin is interested in working within the movie and TV soundtrack arena, and all avenues music.
Currently, Tabitchin is preparing his catalogue of music for release, while coming up with new and creative music that hasn't hit the mainstream yet.
While not working on his music, he enjoys enduro dirt biking through the high Cascade peaks of Washington, hanging out with his lovely wife and their comical Australian Shepherd

It's about the music. It's about the sound, how each note interacts with each other, how they corroborate to create a clean musical experience for the listening audience. It's like a stage performance where each note, each instrument, each and every single sound must coordinate together and synchronize in order to create a musical masterpiece on the digital, CD, or phonographic stage. It's about the music and how it sounds to the listening public, no matter what format they're using and no matter what speaker source they're listening to it from. It's about an enjoyable listening experience.
